We photograph each city thoroughly before we start drawing — hundreds of reference shots per stop. From there, we find our favorites and render each illustration by hand in our Fort Worth studio — no filters, no stock art, no AI. Just the places, as carefully as we can remember them. Each bird represents a different member of our family, tucked into every city we've drawn — perched on a sign, drifting across a sky, watching from a rooftop.
