Then comes the fun part—adding splashes of color and texture, like I’m pouring in the good stuff: bold hues for the spirits, softer washes for mixers, maybe a swirl of something fizzy. Bit by bit, I stir in subtle lighting and highlights, giving it that perfect glimmer, like the way a drink catches the light just right. Finally, I top it all off with the garnish—whether it’s a twist of citrus, a sprig of mint, or a perfectly placed umbrella—until it feels as fresh and delicious on paper as it would be in hand.
