Does the Old Fashioned print show the ingredients?

Yes — the classic Old Fashioned ingredient list is illustrated right on the print, including the bourbon, bitters, sugar, and orange peel proportions. It shows what goes in the drink, not how to make it.

The Old Fashioned print is one of our top-gifted pieces for whiskey enthusiasts. It works for birthdays, Father's Day, and housewarming gifts. For a whiskey-themed gallery wall, pair it with our Manhattan print — both are hand-illustrated and share the same vintage aesthetic.

The Old Fashioned is the cocktail that started it all. It is arguably the original cocktail, and we wanted our illustration to reflect that timeless, no-nonsense sophistication. The amber tones of the whiskey, the orange peel garnish, the Luxardo cherry, and the classic rocks glass all came together beautifully.

We spent a lot of time getting the ice just right. A proper Old Fashioned uses a single large ice cube, and that detail matters to bourbon enthusiasts. Our friend Al actually uses giant ice blocks that he carves himself, which always takes the presentation to another level.

This print is a natural fit above a whiskey collection or home bar. Pair it with our Whisky Sour and Manhattan prints for a whiskey-forward gallery wall.

The warm amber tones work especially well with dark wood frames and leather furniture. It is also a great piece for a den, office, or man cave.

The Old Fashioned dates back to the early 1800s and is considered by many to be the original cocktail. Made with bourbon or rye whiskey, a sugar cube, Angostura bitters, and an orange peel, it is a study in simplicity.

The drink experienced a major revival thanks to the TV show Mad Men and has remained one of the most ordered cocktails at bars worldwide.

This Old Fashioned print is one of our top-selling gifts for Father's Day, groomsmen, and whiskey lovers. Pair it with our Illustrated Mixology Cocktail Cards for a complete bourbon lover gift.
