The Cosmopolitan became a cultural icon thanks to Sex and the City in the 1990s, and its vibrant pink color made it an obvious choice for our cocktail series. The elegant martini glass silhouette with that gorgeous cranberry hue was a joy to illustrate.

We love how the lime garnish adds just the right pop of green contrast against the pink. This print captures the sophistication and fun that the Cosmo represents. It is the kind of drink that makes you feel a little more glamorous just holding it.

This was one of our earlier illustrations, and it remains a fan favorite, especially as a gift.

The Cosmopolitan is made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice. While it gained mainstream popularity in the 1990s, the drink has roots going back to the 1970s cocktail scene.

Despite its trendy reputation, the Cosmo is a legitimately well-balanced cocktail. The tartness of the cranberry and lime plays perfectly against the sweetness of the triple sec.
