The Tom Collins is named after a fictional character from a famous 1874 prank called the Great Tom Collins Hoax, where people told their friends that a man named Tom Collins was saying terrible things about them at a nearby bar. We thought it was a great story and it inspired us to add this classic gin cocktail to our collection.

The tall, slender Collins glass with its lemon wheel and cherry garnish gave us a beautiful vertical composition to work with.

I ordered this print for a small spot that needed a “pop”. The Cosmopolitan print was just right, plus a favorite cocktail of mine. The color is vivid and quality is excellent.
