Q: Are these safe for young children?
A: These are an educational tool meant to be used with an adult, not a toy. The cards arrive bound on a small metal ring. For children under 4, or any child who still puts small objects in their mouth, remove the ring and let them use the cards unbound.
Q: What age range are these designed for?
A: Ages 4 and up. Older children, teens, and adults use them for structured memorization as well.
Q: How many cards are in the set?
A: The set includes 28 pages total: 26 Scripture cards (one for each letter of the alphabet) plus a front and back cover.
Q: What Bible verses are included?
A: One verse for every letter, A to Z, in the NIV translation. They are short, concrete verses chosen so a young reader can actually memorize them. A begins with Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD," and Z closes the set with Romans 12:11.
Q: How do you handle Q, X, and Z?
A: Those three letters appear inside the verse rather than at the beginning. Q is James 1:19, "Everyone should be Quick to listen." X is Psalm 145:1, "I will eXalt you, my God the King." Z is Romans 12:11, "Never be lacking in Zeal."
Q: Are these good for a child who is still learning letters?
A: The alphabet letter on each card is set in a decorative script. Children who already recognize their letters do best with them. If your child is still learning letter shapes, plan to read the letter aloud together rather than expecting them to identify it on sight.
Q: How big are the cards?
A: 5.5 x 4.125 x 0.5 inches. Big enough for a child to hold and see clearly, small enough for a backpack or tote bag. They are larger than our Verses for Purses cards, which are 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
Q: Are these cards durable enough for kids?
A: Yes. They are printed on sturdy 17pt coated cardstock designed to hold up to regular use by children.
Q: Can I use these for Advent or Easter?
A: Yes. With 26 cards they work well as a daily reading through Advent, and they are a popular non-candy Easter basket filler.

These cards were a great gift! We use them to help our toddler learn letter recognition, as well as an introduction to memorizing verses from Scripture at an early age. The cards are simple enough to use during breakfast time for a quick lesson around the table. They are well made, attractive cards. I especially appreciate that they are made in the USA. I thought they are small cards that can be carried around in a purse or school bag but was quite disappointed that they are quite big and not really convenient to carry around .

Growing up I had flash cards for memorizing Bible verses & these are almost identical. They are the perfect addition to anyone trying to memorize Bible verses. Great learning key to help little ones or even if you’re just trying to get into the swing of scripture.

The paper is heavy weight and glossy. The ring feature is nice. I use a magnetic hook to hang one set on our Sunday School Dry Wipe Board for convenient access.

This was purchased as a gift. It was just as shown--straightforward, solid scripture verses that would be helpful for supplemental family or kids' memory verses, weekly reading, etc. Nice that it comes on a ring, but could also be taken off & used on a wall.With some of the verses, I wish that the larger context were given, maybe on the back of the card (a few more verses) for more in-depth reading & understanding. Some of the verses, while good, don't capture the full meaning. Thanks.

These alphabetical scripture memory cards are great!! I bought them for 6.5 year old and 4.5 year old granddaughters who live out of state. I purchased a 2nd set so that I can review verses with them by phone or FaceTime. It is so important to have small children start memorizing God’s Word. These are simple verses on sturdy laminated-type card stock. The ring will work great for them to hang the cards on a suction hook on the refrigerator. My heart has been heavy on how I can help my daughter home school during Covid. This is a simple and important role that I can play.

I want to teach my young grandchild bible verses. These are very nice - verses fairly short and cards made well. The only thing I didn’t like was I thk the letters on the cards should be bolder without the fancy script. I thk it might be harder for a young kid to recognize the letters
