Pike Place Market, Seattle — Hand-Illustrated City Art Print

The Public Market sign has been glowing red over Pike Place since 1927. This hand-illustrated print captures the market at street level — the metal scaffolding of the sign, the World Famous fish market tents below, the city name pressed into the pavement. A lone traveler has claimed the best seat on the sign, watching the whole scene from above.

Printed as a genuine giclée on 270 GSM FSC-certified heavyweight cover stock with fade-resistant pigment inks. Available in 8x10 and 11x14, unframed and ready for your favorite frame.

The Stop We Did Not Rush

Pike Place is one of those places that rewards staying. The fish market, the flower stalls, the view down to Elliott Bay — you keep finding something you almost missed. We usually make a stop at Piroshky Piroshky, then just wander the stalls and see what's there.

This illustration starts from a photo taken at street level, looking up at the scaffolding of the Public Market sign. The City Fish Market sign, the red tents, the word SEATTLE pressed into the pavement — all drawn by hand in our Fort Worth studio.
About the Illustration
Pike Place Market opened in 1907 and is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers markets in the United States. The iconic Public Market neon sign has stood since 1927 and is one of the most photographed landmarks in Seattle.

The illustration is drawn from street level looking up, with the sign dominating the frame and the market stalls filling the background. The World Famous fish market tents, the City Fish Market sign, and the city name in the pavement all appear in the drawing.
Seattle Wall Art for Any Space
This print works in a kitchen, home office, living room, or as part of a travel gallery wall. It pairs naturally with other city prints in the Hand-Illustrated Stopovers series — Chicago, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, and New York are all available separately.

The sky blue and brick red palette is warm and inviting. A simple black or natural wood frame works beautifully.
A Gift for Seattle Lovers

This Seattle art print makes a thoughtful gift for anyone with a connection to the Pacific Northwest — a Seattle native, someone who visited and loved it, or a friend who calls it home. It is a popular choice as a Seattle housewarming gift, a going-away present, or a birthday gift for the Seattle lover in your life.
